foster parents can reasure a child by planning their future, while they are with you and when they leave. Let them still be able to visit during holidays if it is possible, let them know you are a support team when they age out or leave. No one like unstablility and foster kids often have to move place to place BUT you can still keep in touch, phone, skype, iM or facebook. keeping connections help ease this fear..
