"Comics Creating Change," Plauzzable Creator, Leanne Linsky

fosterkids make the best comedians, actors, sketch artist...IF they have that skill, they will never be shy again when in college and have to present! Even IF they only want to check it out, learning how to stand in front of others and keep their attention, is a blessing...Be inspired get motivated and teach others...I found my happy place in writing screenplays, sketches, interviewing, and standup comedy.

What's The Fuss About DNA? CEO, Christopher Smothers

fosters knowing WHO they are and what tribe/family looks like, helps with identity, even if you never meet them, its good to know and denying them that, should be a banned UNLESS abuse was involved, then its fair game to never contact or find out who they are. I am so blessed to have found my dad, (deceased), my 4 sisters and brother and to know that...there are 11 of us total from my dads side...whoa! lol the more the merrier...
Atleast i now know that i am NOT an alien! check out my book - you will understand what i mean.

Dundee Crocodile Final scene follow your dreams

what does this have to do with foster care or aging out?

People, Places & Things that saved me mentally after abuse, neglect, abandonment...and never regaining a mother or father aside from my foster parents, (whom I loved dearly).

In my new book, I will talk about

When I aged out of foster care, how I  regained my confidence through modeling, acting and new friends I made in the gay community at F.I.T.and various NYC clubs. I always maintained a clear head because I was never interested in drugs or alcohol, as that was why I ended up in care.

This clip shows me three times next to the Jamaican guy, with my straw hat on, (I had  braids under hat). I only got to do this gig thanks to one of the girls that was my roommate in the girls residence, (ie, "group home")..I lived in in NYC when I aged out and went to Paris.

Do what you love is one point, no matter how long it takes

2nd point, you never know WHO will be your blessing so never judge a book by its cover! Who would have thought a counselor from a group home and former roommate's would "connect" me to my true passion?

Although I was not gay, it was the my gay friends who picked me up when I was mentally beaten down from years of sexual abuse. I had no confidence in my teen years due to my abuse, It was the clubs and working for people that saw something in me, (Stephen Rubel/Studio 54,( before its final demise/Palladium) and the modeling world. that gave me confidence again.

I had finally found something that I was good at and that people welcomed me.

Often we feel like outsiders from moving so much and for once when I left foster care, I felt I found people that believed in me and loved me back to good mental health! Do what you love, never judge others and be kind to EVERYONE you meet, they may save or change your life!! #followyourpassion
